Can the OSHA Audit App be reused to conduct audits of multiple worksites?
Yes! OSHA Audit can definitely be used for multiple audits. Not only can you create another audit after you’re finished with one, but you can run multiple audits concurrently. There’s no limit to the number of audits.
How many OSHA audits can this app run simultaneously?
There is no limit on simultaneous audits – you can run as many as you like concurrently.
Does the information get sent anywhere outside of your selected email recipient?
No, you control your information at all times. We know that safety auditing information can be very sensitive, so the app is designed with that in mind. It never gets sent to our servers, and the only way it gets distributed is when you email it to someone.
Is this information collected shared with any government agencies, such as OSHA or the Department of Labor?
No, the app does not share your information with any outside party. Your audits are completely private and we have no access to them. The only way the audit info would get to OSHA or DOL would be if you chose to email them directly from your device.
Does an audit time out after I have started one and have not completed it?
Nope, the audit does not time out; you can keep them on your device as long as you’d like.
Can I use my copy of the app on multiple devices?
Yes, within Android and Apple’s limits. Android and Apple have varying rules on this, so here’s how it breaks down:
- Android versions: you can use it on any Android device that you own and that is tied to your Google account. If you upgrade your phone or buy a new Android tablet in the future, you can keep using the app on those devices. The app isn’t tied to any one device. It’s tied to your Google account, so you can use it on any Android device that you buy in the future.
- iPhone version: you can use it on any iPhone you have associated with your Apple account. You can also use it on your iPad, but it will appear as an iPhone app and won’t take up the full iPad screen. That’s why we have a separate iPhone and iPad version.
- iPad version: you can use it on any iPad you have associated with your Apple account. If you buy a newer iPad later, you can still keep using the app.
